trust relationship

One forest, two domain in the same LAN, Domain A with Windows 2003 server,
Domain B with Windows 2000 server, one member server in domian A installed
with web based application with SQL 2005 database, Windows 2003 server.

Trust relationship between 2 domains work fine, can access folders,
but

User logon to Domain B, unable to access application in Domain A, Enter
Network Password dialog pop up, ask to enter username, Password, & Domain.

my understanding on trust relationship is logon to another domain is not
necessary once the domain alreeady trusted.

Any one have the answer to it, please help me.

Tks.

Trusts within a forest are automatic so as long
as your connectivity and DNS are ok this should
always work.

As long as the user has the required permissions (on objects)
and required (general) rights.

Of course the application might be using non-integrated
authentication (IIS for instance can work EITHER way;
IIS can use integrated authentication automatically or
EXPLICITLY [e.g., to a different domain account].)
