I have been experiencing problems with intermittent internet
connection on a Windows Vista Business computer connected to Windows
Small Business Server 2003 domain.

I would like to know what tools are available for testing and
troubleshooting any problems that may be causing my intermittent
connections to web pages.

What is the first steps in identifying the problem (of a more advanced
nature) or simple?

What I do is have to go to a web page three times before I am
successful.

How do I know if I have DNS issues?

Or it is the Router?

Or something else?

Thanks
Dominic

In your network connection, right-click>properties> try unticking IPv6.
It causes probs on some networks.

Also, you could be right about updating firmware for the router

Did not work - it stopped me from using Remote Desktop.
