Troubleshoot Internet Explorer 6

Hi, hope someone can help.

After trying out AOL trial version, I am unable to browse
the internet with Internet Explorer. No matter what page
I try to open the error message is "the page cannot be
displayed" and at the bottom of the page it says "Cannot
find server or DNS Error". In Properties of that page the
URL begins with res://C:\WINDOWS\System32
\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm#. What's at fault?

I have started using other browsers but I miss IE. Please
help me fix this problem. Thanks to all who reply.

How to Configure Internet Explorer to Work with AOL as Your ISP
All of a sudden I can't launch I.E. 6 to connect to the internet UNLESS I
have first connected with AOL. If AOL isn't launched and I try to do IE6 I
get this:
C:windows\system\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm If you have AOL or had it then try
this fix.
