OK, here are all of the things that are going wrong, and
I should note that I had Norton scan my computer from its
web site, and found no viruses...

I am running XP pro on a sharp PC-MV12W.

1) When I try to connect to my wireless router (network
named foo) I can only connect to PRISM SSID, but this is
not a real network, and I can not actually use this

2) My wireless network icon stays, and says it is still
connected to PRISM SSID, even when I disable wireless
zero configuration

3) Symantec Anti-Virus doesn't see the "C" drive

4) My D drive has become "read only", though when I
check "d:attrib" or whatever the code is, I don't have it
in front of me, "r" does not show up as one of the
problems, and -r seems to have no effect

5) Word want to save this as templates for no reason.

These are all of the problems that come to mind just now,
but there is some other weird stuff. I am thinking that
I should try to repair XP with the disk, and if that
doesn't work just do a reinstall. I am open to
suggestions though.
