Trouble with CD/DVD ROM drive

looks like I uninstalled the CD/DVD-ROM drive while trying to load Power DVD software. I tried to load the hardware again by following the instruction (as far as I could understand). But it's not working out. It shows error 41 and says impossible to perform task. The CD/DVD ROM drive is not visible in the control panel or on the desktop. In the systems under hardware, CD and DVD-ROM drives are visible but there are big yellow dots with exclamation mark inside the dot on these drives. I have no clue what these mean. Please help
I am not able to play CD, DVD, MP3 etc. I get the message drive does not exist. Please tell me what to do.

Hi Nisha,

Save the file below to your hard drive. Navigate to where you saved it and
double click the file. A confirmation dialog will appear when the script is
done. You may need to reboot for the change to take effect.

Restore CD/DVD in Explorer
