Trouble using MS Fax under ISDN

Hi,

I'm using MS Fax / Siemens Gigaset 4175 ISDN / MS W2k Server SP4.

There are several things bothering me. Here are just two of them:

* I've assigned two MSNs to my computer. Where can I tell MS Fax to only use
the first for sending/receiving?

* The fax service doesn't respond to incoming faxes after boot-up. I always
have to open the fax printer first and close it again for the fax service to
respond.

Can someone please enlighten me on these?

TIA,
Axel Dahmen

Your subject line seem to suggest that you are using ISDN. Note that faxing
requires a fax modem and analog line for faxing.

On Windows 2000, please use 'Fax Service Management' (Start | Programs |
Accessories | Communications | Fax | Fax Service Management). Select
Devices, right-click the modem in the right pane, select Properties ) to
configure individual devices to send/receive faxes. Using this, you can
disable send and receive on one of your devices.

Answers to the following questions will help further assistance

1. What do you mean by MSNs?
