the best way is to install xp again but this time be sure
to specify the correct drive!
do you want to replace ME with xp? if so then format the
c drive at the same time that you install xp. \
be aware that formating will delete all files on the
drive!
when you get xp installed on the c drive just go to the d
drive and delete the windows folder. as for drivers, some
of your programs may need new drivers or updates to run
on xp. run the compatability wizard to find out which
ones will need new drivers.
