trouble updating windows defender 2

I had trouble getting Windows Defender to update it's signatures. I tried to
press update in the program, my autoupdate in windows "went balistic",
updating KB915597 over and over again, but it never worked. Seems the whole
"autoupdate" in Windows defender just screws up if you uninstall then install
again..

Well if any of you have this problem, here is the solution:

If you have tried kb 915105 without success, tell us more:

Do you get an error message?

What happens if you go to Windows Update?

Are you on a managed network with a SUS or WSUS server? If WSUS, the
administrator needs to have enabled the new class of updates for Windows
Defender signatures.

Have the same issue...tried the patch/windows update/...bust the error
message remains...unable to complete update:0x3024002b
