trouble starting applications

Each time when I tried to start Words, Money, etc.,
wondows would prepare to install them from CDROM. Does
anyone konw what kind of problem I have and how it can be
fixed?

Ah. You finally got some text in the body of your post! Congrats. A
"screen name" might be a good addition...

I've seen an answer but do not have it at hand. You could try doing
the "repair" function in Office perhaps. Say if this is W2k and post-
apply of SP4 as that may be pertinent. Office version is also likely
useful. And the Office news groups probably have this issue listed
already.
