trouble sending emails

J

Jason

There is an office wide problem sending emails with
attachments. The email server is at a remote location,
connected via a T1. Anytime anyone tries to send a large
email it seems to sit in the Outbox. This is intermidant,
but happens about 95% of the time. I think the T1 is
overloaded and causing the problems. Is there a way to
change the MTU that Outlook tries to send emails in? Does
anyone have any other suggestions to fix the problem?

Are you sending by Exchange or by individual Outlook clients? In the case of
Exchange please repost in an Exchange newsgroup.
For Outlook; make sure that the e-mail is not bigger than the limit that
might be set on the server.
