trouble installing printer via usb

trying to install lexmark all in one x6150 printer unit
and windows does not seem to find the printer via the usb
port. The printer installed fine on my parents computer.
Any idea about a conflict with the usb and this particular
printer?

I don't know how lexmark screwed this up. I get 'unknown device' instead of
new hardware wizard.

You need to manually install the driver. I download the unidriver version,
because the "recommended driver" is soo bad.
