Trouble Getting DSL to Work

I am trying to connect DSL using T-Online. I put in the proper proxy
addresses in Internet Explorer's settings. When I try to connect to the net,
it doesn't work. My ethernet card is showing "limited or no connectivity" in
the lower right status bar and clicking "Repair" won't fix it. Any
suggestions?

Use the XP connection wizard and set it to a connection that's always on.
You shouldn't need a proxy I don't think... I'm not familiar with T-Online
but with MOST DSL connections you need only the service enabled, the box,
and to use the wizard to say it's an internet connection that's always on.
