TROUBLE CONNECTING TO THE INTERNET

I usually leave my computer established on a connection to the Internet to
receive new e-mail messages whenever they are sent to me. When I try to
double-click on the "Internet Explorer" icon on the desk top, I get a note
that states 'that no connection to the Internet is currently available and I
have to click on 'Try Again' to get it established. This usually takes some
time for the connection to be established. This condition has existed since
one of the recent upgrades. The system seems to be 'spinning it's wheels a
lot' lately. I have tried closing my already established connection to the
Internet before attempting to get on to the Internet Explorer and still
encounters a considerable delay before the connection is made. I did not
experience any problems prior to a recent upgrade.

Well you may want to call your internet service provider to see if they can
help. That way you can troubleshoot the problem a bit. If there is no
problem on your internet service providers side then you know it is a Windows
issue. Hope that helps.
