hi people

please help?? i have a kaspersky anti virus but for some reason i have
managed to get a virus on my pc loads of popups seem to be appearing and
everytime i open internet explorer there seems to be a page that wont allow
me to use any other page it wants me to download virus programs i have
blocked the virus but everytime i open a page it re appears can anyone assist
please

You likely have mal/spyware, most AV software will not/ is poor at scanning
and cleaning that. Run a scan with Ad-Aware and Spybot (both free) and see
what they find.

I had the same thing happen to my pc I picked up spywear doctor off
www.majorgeeks.com and it fixed it and has never been on my system since

Your browser been hijacked by a Malware planted by a website you did trust
or allowed to download or install ActiveX on your computer.
Download HijackThis from ( http://www.aumha.org/free.htm ) as Mark said and
Send The report to the Aumha Forum.
Also download the Lavasoft and Spybot S&D to scan for other Malwares from
here:

http://www.safer-networking.org for Spybot S&D
