Trojan virus

Hello all...I am in desperate need of help, as a Trojan virus is kicking my
computer's butt and making me rather ornery. The virus is located in the
following directory: C:\windows\system32\sl3xv9eeiv.dll and it is called
Download.Trojan. I have purchased Norton Internet Security 2005 and it has
indicated that this virus is a high risk virus and a window repeatedly
appears telling me that Norton is "unable to repair this file" and "access to
the file was denied." When I go into the folder mentioned above and try to
delete the file manually, it tells me that the file is write-protected or in
use by another program. I hope that someone can help me with this dilemma
without having to wipe out my hard-drive altogether.

Thanks everybody!!!

If you are in regular mode, use MSCONFIG to boot into safe mode. Go to the
boot.ini section adn select /safeboot.

On restart, log in as administrator (default password is blank) and locate
the file using Explorer or Search. EIther rename it (for example, change
the extension to .bad) or delete it. If a running process is using it,
right click on the taskbar and choose Task Manager. On the Processes page,
locate the process using that DLL and choose End Task. Delete the file.

Rerun MSCONFIG and go back to a normal startup. Pay attention to what is
being loaded and where, as you'll probably need to know this to fix the rest
of the problems.

On restart you'll probably have error messages to deal with, and you
probably also have other trojans. I use Hijack This as a tool to help
identify and remove these.

Hello everyone,
I am not the onlyst who needs help with trojans.
I got a trojan wich calles hisself W.P.
-It's a trojan that slows my computer when I'm on Internet.
-'' '' is a modus.
That's why I can't delete it.
When I Try to it says:
Can't delete WP. The file is in using by Windows.
My computer scanners don't see it as a virus.
( I got AVG & Ad Aware Se Personal. )
Some friends said to me you need to use a online virusscan.
-If that's true can someone tell me how to do that?
-If that's wrong does someone know how to get Windows in an other modus?

Thanks for taking time and all for me!
