All,
I have the above virus and can't get rid of it (Ad Aware,
Spybot and Norton) don't clear it, will the Microsoft
Beta s/w do it or can anyone suggest something else ?

If Norton identifies it but doesn't clean, have you checked their manual
cleaning instructions? Every virus description I've ever seen at their site
has such instructions.

Generally, they also recommend attempting to scan/clean in Safe mode before
trying manual cleaning.

Bill,
thanks for your reply.

Norton does not identify it. I get a security alert on my
desktop which say's I have this virus and that the
computer cannot functionly correctly - Not sure how or
what is giving me that message ?

But I'll try a check in safe mode tonight

Simon,

Suggest you download, install, and then update a trial version of
Kapersky Antivirus to remove it . Instructions for doing so can be found
here : http://castlecops.com/postt106277.html
