trojan inbedded in Microsoft update

This is the second time I received a warning from my anti virus
software telling me a trojan is present in a Microsoft update.
( Trojan-Dropper.Win32.Agent )

What is this company doing?

This is probably a question you should ask your
anti-virus company. I would be prepared to bet
a large amount of money that it's a false warning.

a false warning and this ab out a company where updates are done
without any consent from the user?

And this even in breach with their own rules where they state a user
may decide not to have automatic updates performed?

Microsoft should be trusted, right!

When I said "False Warning" I was referring to your
anti-virus company. Would you care to name the
product?

You prefer me to send you the specific Microsoft file, that way you
can check it for yourself? The name of the file even refers to the NT
kernel!

My anti virus software was the only one offering a possibility to get
rid of a klez type virus some time ago whole no other anti virus
software was able to remove it!

BTW the anti virus definitions created by this specific anti virus
program is used by several other anti virus developers. Don't you
think this says a lot about its validity?

Probability that MS has a trojan present an update downloaded directly from
the Windows Update site......0.0000001%

Probability that your AV program is flagging it due to some other
reason...99.9999999%

Why don't you delete all your virus programs and see how fast and trouble
free a computer can really be.

I vehemently disagree! I think its probability is:
Trojan present in download from Microsoft .000000000000000000000000001%
AV program problem .99999999999999999999999999%

I note your pronounced reluctance to name your anti-virus
product. Interesting . . .

I'd like to take a look at that infected MS file. Maybe post it to a binary
group or a free server, and give us a link. Thanks.

Really? Can you document or cite any valid link or legitimate article that
shows that MS has ever knowingly or unknowingly had a virus, trojan or
malware embedded in an update made and released by them from their own
servers? I keenly await your citations and references....

The information together with the detailed result screen of the scan
in question was forwarded, as requested.

None of the regular anti virus softwareis even showing this type of
trojan YET.

*** Forwarded to whom? Where is it?

*** So what makes you so confident that it is a trojan included
*** with a Microsoft update? It is far more likely that your
*** mysterious virus scanner has reported a false positive.
