Trojan Horse.

Dear all, I recently ran my AVG and it stated that three
files were infected by a Trojan Horse virus. It could not
remove them and the files are still infected. What do I do.

Find the location of the infected files. If it's at Restore folder, disable
System Restore then restart the system. If it's at Temporary internet files
folder, emptying this folder should do the trick. Run another full system
scan to confirm your work :)

If the location of the infected files are different from the above, try a
online scan using any of the following free services:

your AV program should be able to Quarntine the infected
files, however if it's a necessary file (like a system
files), then Quarntining them would not be a good idea,
since it denies access to the files, this will cuase
problems w/ your OS...

What message did you get when you tried to delete them?? Sometimes it helps to boot
into safe mode to delete files. I would first go to one of the popular websites such
as SARC http://www.sarc.com/ to search for the name of the trojan and they may have
specific instructions or a tool to do it for you. Also make sure that your virus
definitions are current. --- Steve
