Solved: No sound from browers for videos - Internet Explorer andFirefox

Issue solved:
I had this issue where there is no sound coming out of browser when
playing embedded videos like from sites youtube, dailymotion etc.
That
is any embedded video - no matter flash player or embedded media
player.
I tried everything that is found in net - like reinstalling
browsers,
removing all cookies, changing the security setting, reinstalling
flash player. Then I tried something which was recommended in most of
the sites, about checking the mapping for "wavemapper" in registry is
"msacm32.drv". All these were in place and still no sound. Then I
installed Spybot and did scan, installed CCleaner and did registry
cleaning. Nothing helped..
Now this is what worked for me.
I installed AVG from - http://free.avg.com/download-avg-anti-virus-free-edition
AVG installed a inbuilt "Resident Shield detection" and while this
was running, I opened internet explorer (and firefox later) and it
found out a trojan horse and it removed the same. These are the
details of the trojan horse.
----------------------------------------
Resident Shield detection
"Infection";"Object";"Result";"Detection time";"Object
Type";"Process"
"Trojan horse Crypt.DIS";"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer
\setupapi.dll";"Moved to Virus Vault";"08/04/2009,
20:00:38";"file";"C:
\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"
"Trojan horse Crypt.DIS";"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
\setupapi.dll";"Infected";"08/04/2009, 19:58:26";"file";"C:\Program
Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
"Trojan horse Crypt.DIS";"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
\setupapi.dll";"Moved to Virus Vault";"08/04/2009,
19:58:06";"file";"C:
\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
------------------------------------------
And then I went to youtube and voila !!! I have sound now :)

I posted this because there are lot of posts in internet about the
same issue and I tried most of them and didn't work for me.. And
hopefully this will help somebody out there with same issue as mine.
