tree view help

I went to Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types -> Went to Folder [None] ->
Advanced , clicked on explore and clicked on default then clicked ok. When a
folder is opened up it shows the tree view on the left side and i have to
click the "folders" button to make the tree view go away... Now how do i
change it so when i go into a folder it does not open up the tree view on the
left side??

Restart in Safe Mode and try it.
