I have Windows XP home on my computer and I have been
getting an error message during boot-up then will go no
further. Once in a while I can boot into Win XP and it
seems to be fine once it is started.

Soyo KT400 Dragon Ultra (platinum)with Latest Bios.
AMD Athalon XP3000
512 MB PC2700 DDR333
Gforce 3 TI 200 (64MB Ram)
80 GB Western digital HDD
10 GB Samsung HDD
Creative Modem Blaster V.92
Sound-On Mother Board
1 CD and 1 CD/RW

I have Windows 98SE on WD HDD and will boot up every time.
I also had Win 98SE on Samsung HDD and had no trouble with
it then.

Does anyone know what this trap error means and how to
remedy it?

Having the exact same problem with similar config on the KT400 Black
Edition MB. If you have resolution I'd appreciate if you'd post it.

check the ram and processor, i ve got a soyo dragon ultre kt-400 also
and it was the ram, but ive seen it from a processor temp error also.
