I need to know how to make my Icons in Windows transparent. The space in
behind the writing is really annoying me, and it looks horrible on my
desktop. I've seen people do this before, but I just have no idea how to do
it. How do I make the space in the desktop icon's background transparent with
the desktop?

You need to access the PERFORMANCE settings on CONTROL PANEL.. place a check
mark beside 'use drop shadows for icons on the desktop'..

Thank you very much sir, you just made my day. Thanks again for the help.

Control Panel - System - Advanced - Performance, click Settings -
bottom of the panel, check 'Use drop shadows under icon titles on
Desktop'
