Transparent background of picture

Help!

I'm using Powerpoint XP. I have a product logo (Jpeg) that I want to use in
a Powerpoint presentation. When I bring it into Powerpoint it displays the
picture within a white rectangle. I want to remove this white space so that
it blends into the slide master without showing a white square around it.

I've edited the image using PaintShop Pro and removed the white space, but
when I copy it back into Powerpoint, the white space appears again!

Can this be done?

Thanks for any help.

Have you created you image as a treansparent background. Photoshop can do all
this for you.

Your message does seem to appear. I'm not sure what you mean about "adding a
request," though. What exactly are you trying to do?
