Sounds like you are using the wrong type of film. There are about 4 types -
laser, photocopier, write-on and ink. Ink will never dry on anything but
those specially made for inkjet printers. The surface for ink has a rough
finish. If you are using the right type of film then you are probably
printing on the wrong side.
Thanks Rae, you solved my problem. I had been using old film that I had
collected from when I was teaching and I think it was photocopy transparency
film. I made sure I was on the right side this time too. Again thanks.
