transition issues

Hello. I am creating a powerpoint presentation that will be used in a kiosk
that is designed to loop continuously My clients want their products
displayed on each slide along with text explaining the various features.
I have no problem creatign the presentations, integrating the photos, or
putting together the animated text.
My problem is that once the slide is displayed it almost immediately
transitions to the next slide without giving the potential customer enough
time to see what was on the slide.

I have set the timing of the transitions to be "slow" but they still seem to
speed by despite my best efforts. I have even gone in to play with the
timings but the result is even worst. I get a "blank slide" which displays
the template Im working with, minus the text and the graphic.
Can you help me with my problem? Its not my machine, I have this same
problem usign the company computer as well as my own.
I need this answer ASAP as I will be doing this presentation this week.

ANSWER: Dear:
Sorry to reply late, I am not at work in the weekend.
for your question:
if you are using powerpoint 2003, go to " slide show---slide transition" and
set a proper transition time.

There seems to be a mis-understanding.

The transition speed is the speed of the transition from one slide to
another. The 'Automatically Advance Slide After' setting is the minimum
time the SlideShow should spend on that slide. The first controls the speed
of change, the second controls the delay before changing.

So, in the Slide Transition pane, change the Auto Advance setting to 30
seconds and try it. If this is more like what you wanted, you can either
apply the auto advance manually to all the slides, use the apply to all
(note this applies all the settings to all the slides, not just the timing),
or even go with the rehearse timings wizard (listed under SlideShow).
