Transferring program files

I have 2 hard drives in my computer I wanted to rearrange
them so one is games only and the other is everything
else. My question is:

Is there a program that I can use to transfer files from
one drive to the other without messing up the registry,
or having to uninstall the progs from one drive and
reinstall it on the other?

If I have the option of uninstall and re-install to the
other hard drive will I lose all my files?

You can XCopy files from one drive to the other, just do

not try to "drag and drop" them.
