Okay -- I know how to do it generally.

But in OE -- I have my contacts set up in folders... and would like to keep
it that way in Windows Mail.

But when I export -- it dumps everything into one big pile! Then I would
have to manually resort the list into the 8 different folders... contact by
contact.

Is there a better way?

Thanks in advance.

You can create folders for the contacts, but Windows Mail will not show
them when you click on To:, CC: or BCC:

However, you can do it bassackwards if you have folders... open your
Contacts folder, open your sub-folder, select your recipient(s),
right-click, select Action - Send Email

and, you can create Groups, which are mail lists of selected contacts.

Yes there is, and you won't like it. You're seeing what is probably a bug
in WAB.

The problem is that the Windows Address book, which is what OE uses, throws
away folders when you export. It does, however, keep *groups*.

-pk

Folder will neither export from or import into OE's Address Book, Kathryn.

[TYPO]
[Folders] will neither export from or import into OE's Address Book,
