Transferring from Outlook to Outlook (not express)

Hi.
I am searching on this site about how to transfer ALL my information in
Outlook 2000 (office 2000 premium) from my old computer with windows 98SE to
my new computer with windows XP. But all the posts that I read are pertaining
to Outlook express transfers? I thought this forum was for MS Office Outlook?
Does anyone know how I can transfer my MS Office 2000 Outlook from my old
computer to my new computer. This is the SAME Outlook (installed from the
same CD and configured the same way) the only thing that has changed is the
OS...and of course the computer. ;-)
My wife tried to do the transfer but she only transfered the inbox and
individual subfolders (not the sent items, or the contacts or the calendar)
and the emails have no date stamp. As well she had to export each folder
separately, isn't there a way to transfer the entire Outlook data to a new
computer?
Please if anyone out there can help send me an email at
(e-mail address removed)

Thank you very much!

Antoine.

Not in this group you haven't as we generally try to steer folks to the
Outlook Express groups to keep things tidy. Take a look here, it may help:
http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm

Once you have everything copied, use File->Open, do NOT import unless you
want to repeat your wife's experience.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Antoine asked:

If you click on the Outlook Today folder, then export, it will export data
from all folders without having to export each folder individually. You can
also D/L the backup folders utility from MS and do it that way.

But there are no Palm folders in the menu to select.

What does Palm have to do with this?
Did you see my reply to your original post?

Also, export/import is not the way to go, as Milly explained.
