Transfering a File from an XP Workgroup to a different Workgroup

Here is the scenerio:
Computer A (XP) has a file in the Local Hard Drive (C:)
Computer B (2kPro) wants to get the file from Computer A

Tried pinging machines- they have good replies. But when I open up Computer
B in the Workgroup Folder in My Network Places -Computer A sees Computer B.
Tried to open Computer B from Computer A's Workgroup Folder. Error Message
says it cannot find path. How would I solve this problem.
 
try placing the file on a shared folder. Then let computer b map to the A's
shared folder with the proper user and password.
