transfer contact list

Stewart

I have a new laptop computer with Office 2007 and outlook installed.
I have the same on my desktop and am trying to transfer my contact list in
one go. I know that I can do it for individual names but that will take
ages.
I have the list in my laptop in the "documents" folder but here agin they
only seem to transfer one at a time. Holding down alt or ctrl makes no
difference.
Can anyone help.
Thank you

What "list" in your Documents folder?
In Outlook on your Desktop do File-New-Outlook Data File.
Create a new Contacts folder in the new PST file.
Copy all your existing contacts into the new Contacts folder in the new pst
file.
Close the new pst file.
Copy the new pst file to your new laptop. Paste it into your Documents
folder
Open Outlook on the new laptop.
Do File-Open-Outlook Data File. Navigate to where you pasted the pst file.
Copy the Contacts (not the Contacts FOLDER) from the one pst file to the
Contacts folder in the existing pst file.
Close the new pst file.
Job done.
