When you select capture video and the wizard opens, you have the option of
selecting the audio source as well in cases where it is available to you. In
this case select the sound card stereo mix or one of the specific line or mic
in sources and plug your camera audio RCA jacks into an adapter that will fit
into your line or mic plug. BEWARE if you use the MIC jack, because you don't
have a line jack the levels will be way to high out of your camera likely. In
this case a friendly techno nerd can build you a stereo volume control with
about $10 worth of parts from Radio Shack so that you can lower the sound
enough to use the mic jack.

Then selecting the audio source you have commected the camera to using the
wizard it should work for you.

If your PC detects something that says no audio source select availabl;e,
you won't see the audio source select wizard option. Instead of a more
intuitive method of displaying the option and graying it out to you when not
available, it just shows a blank white area, so reading the help files
becomes really confusing. Maybe that will get an update sometime later.

A firewire connection incorporates the audio in the digital stream, so of
course audio source selection isn't needed, and of course the option to
select doesn't show at all.

Hope this is a help to you.
