Tranferring .pst file from older version of Outlook

I recently re-formatted my hard drive, but I saved my outlook.pst file. I
was using Outlook 2000 and upgraded to Outlook 2003. When I try to open the
old .pst file, it says:

"File access is denied. You do not have the permission required to access
the file..."

Is my data lost?

Thanks,
J

Make sure the pst-file is on the harddrive, that you have read and write
access to the file and that the file isn't marked as "read only". Then you
should be able to connect to it by File-> Open-> Outlook Data File...

Tips of the month:
-What do the Outlook Icons Mean?
-Create an Office 2003 CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 1
