I currently have have Xp and i downloaded the trai version of XP x64 - but i
can't get any CD to boot at start up - yes my bios config is correct to get
my cd to boot before my hard drive, any suggestions?

make suer you got self a bootable Cd

If downlaod the trial iso image then you need to use software that can
take the ISO and put in a new bootable CD

otherwise, you may have to search for steps to create a bootable cd

I tried to use Nero 7 to burn the image but it will not boot, My Presario
V2000 with a Torion ML 34 64 bit will, at boot up just sit with a black
srceen with a curser and do nothing. any sugestions

Did you just burn the ISO image as the ISO image or can you see files on
the CD? You should see files, not just *.iso on the CD.
