please help me with a particular
problem on a document which I have from another transaction of some
years ago and which I wish to recycle for a current transaction for a
different client.


My brother has been updating a particular document with his colleague and it
was previously tracked by its owner and showed the final mark up.

Before starting the new document he accepted all tracked changes, asked it to
show only the final version with no mark ups and then saved before coming
out of the tracking facility altogether. He then saved the document as a
seperate document and it is still showing everything from the previous
document.

It only shows this, however, when he closes it down and reopens.

Changing to Final view hides the tracked changes, but does not remove
them. You need click on the "Accept All Tracked Changes" and "Delete
All Comments" commands on the Reviewing toolbar. See
