Tracking Who creates an appointment

Appointments on my calendar can be set by a few different people. Is there
any way to track who created the appointment and when so if I have a question
about who made it and/or why I will know who to ask?

The data is all there, you are just looking at a view that doesn't show that
field. Try changing to the By Category View and adding the field
"created" - I think that's the one that says who made it.

You change views using the Current View Window and you add fields using the
Field Chooser. Both are on the Advanced Toolbar - turn it on and leave it
on as that's where all the power functions of Outlook are hidden away.

Judy,

Thanks. The Category field did not help but your reply did put me on the
right track and it only took a few minutes to tweak it to exactly what I
wanted.

I got what I wanted by adding the "Created" field, which tells me when it
was created and the "Organizer" field (from the "All Appointment Fields"
option.) The "Organizer" field shows up as "From" in the column view but it
is what I was wanting, i.e., who created the appointment.

Now I can clearly see when the appointment was created and by whom. That is
EXACTLY what I was looking for.

Thanks again,
Mike Randolph

You are welcome - and if you read my post again, I didn't say that the
Category FIELD would help you but the By Category VIEW would get you on the
right track (you need a table based view).

Thanks for getting back with the two fields you needed: Created and
Organiser - I'll try to remember that! for next time this question comes up
(as it does from time to time).

I have been able to 'recover' an item which was deleted from a common
calendar by a user. I want to be see if the same user created that item. Is
this possible.
