Change Meeting/Appointment behavior

Hi

When I send a Meeting/Appointment to one of our users it automatically adds
me as a part of the booking. Isn't it possible to change Outlooks default
behavior so that it doesn't add the user who is sending the
Meeting/Appointment message?

It's not that efficient if you have secretaries booking Meetings and
Appointments and they always have to remove them self from the calendar
afterwards.

Is it necessary to create our own form to get passed this problem?

You don't say what version of Outlook you're using so I can't be sure this
will work, but I found it in another thread: In the scheduling window,
right-click next to the "Organizer" and select "Don't send meeting to this
attendee".

Hi Jocelyn

Thanks for the reply.

I forgot about the Outlook version, we use Outlook 2003 SP2/SP3.

I found the "Don't send meeting to this attendee" but isn't it possible to
make it the default settings when sending meeting/appointment requests?

Someone????? :)

It sounds very strange to me that you always have to manually remove the
person sending the meeting/appointment request. What if you have a department
who's only job is to book meetings/appointments, it would be very time
consuming that they have to manually remove them selfs from the request.....
