Track Changes- still applies to headings even though is turned off

Hi,

I have circulated a document for changes to be made and have received it
back with track changes- I have accepted the changes and now wish to make
further amendments to the content. I have turned the track changes option
off and can add text without any problems but when I move any headers it
applies the track changes rules (i.e. strikes though and underlines in bold
etc..)

I want to be able to update the document (text and headers) without track
changes being applied!

Any help gratefully appreciated!

cheers,

Hi Kippers,

What version of Word are you using and how was the document circulated and how were the changes incorporated?
