Track Changes: show deleted text as colored, struck-through?

I'm using Word 2003 (SP2). I seem to remember in earlier versions, when
using the Track Changes option, deleted text showed as colored and
struck-through. Now it's just gone and I get a balloon off to the side. Is
the struck-through option no longer available?

If you disable the balloons (on the Track Changes tab of Tools | Options),
you can select Strikethrough as the formatting for deleted text; it's also
shown that way in Normal view.

Thanks, Suzanne. I never use Normal view - I'm always in Print Layout.
I've been wanting to disable the balloons, too - they can get to be a real
pain when 15 or so stack up against one small paragraph!
