Toshiba P10-304 and XP Pro

Has anyone been able to install Windows XP Pro on a Toshiba P10-304 ? It comes with XP Home pre installed and the XP Pro installation freezes When it gets to "Setup is starting Windows". Toshiba are referring it to Microsoft.
 
You need to uninstall your antivirus program before upgrading to XP Pro.

Anti virus not the problem. BIOS update requires a floppy drive which the machine does not have ! Has ANYONE successfully installed XP Pro on this machine ? Toshiba recommends Microsoft Windows XP Professional !!!!
 
Retail versions of Windows XP include free installation support.
If I were you, I would give Microsoft support a telephone call
before giving up.

Microsoft will not charge you for assistance with overcoming this issue.
