Tooltips being tools...

I'll admit, this isn't exactly life and death stuff but
it is annoying!!

Basically the tooltips on that should appear when the
pointer is moved over items start button, quicklaunch and
system tray all appear behind the taskbar. You can just
see the top part of the tooltip box.

Anyone know why this happens/how to fix it. If I
remember rightly this unserious annoyance used to happpen
occasionally with Win98. It happens all the time with
WinXP.

This seems to be a unresolved problem, happened after a windows update
hotfix install. Will check on this.
