Hey there,

I've a problem. in the line in the top of IE (with files
and such). when i open the tools bar then there is a lot
of links to different sites which I can't delete.. I want
to delete the links cause i never use em...

can someone tell me how to???

Using ToolbarCop to remove the unwanted Toolband, Toolbar Icons and BHO:

Look at the entries one by one in the first section "Internet Explorer Toolbar Buttons", the items under the Tools menu will be listed here. Once removed the unwanted entries, click Options menu and choose "Increase the security level for Internet Zone (Internet Explorer" option. Then, run all of the spyware cleaners:

(Spyware removers are rules-based and are updated very frequently as and when new malware is discovered. Therefore, update both of these tools before scanning, very important)

I've got the same problem. I tried reinstalling IE6 but
still got links. I managed to delete them once by going
to add/remove programs in control panel. They were
linked to Advanced Search Engine but this was only
temporary and for some reason they are back again, only
can't find Advanced Search Engine in add/remove to try
again. The links I have are to some very dodgy websites
which I have NEVER visited and I do not want my children
coming across them. Any help would also be appreciated.
