Toolbar Link for Mail: Send a Link/Send a Page not working

J

Janice

The Read Mail/Read News links work fine but cannot send
link or send page from Internet Explorer Toolbar. No
other problems with Outlook Express. Have Windows ME (no
valid restore point I can use) I have used Repair (from
Add/Remove in Control Panel) and even re-installed twice
but these two functions do nothing at all when I click on
them. No error message, just dead. Thanks to anyone who
reads.

don S here,

I have the same problem on a Presario; 300K6-2 W98se. While using IE6 SP1 w
or wo updates, uninstalled/installed x3. Infact, have installed and am
using Avant Browser=features work fine! can send Links, Pages or Mail FROM
Avant, NOoo problem.

I have an IE5.5 CD that I use to use, remove-replace A fresh copy...since
installing IE6 (A really stupid thing to do, 5.01 & 5.5 SP 1 & 2 served me
well!) I'm not able to get a "clean" removal of 6 to get back to series 5!
Microsoft WON'T let me!?;-(

anybody, TIA don S southern WI USA
