Lost my "send page/link by e-mail' option

Suddenly, I can no longer go File > Send > Page by E-mail (or) >Link by
E-mail.

By restoring, via ERDNT, to a registry a month ago, I can get the options
back. But it has to be a backup from at least 30 days ago. I have made
exports of both the non-working registry and the working registry. However,
I cannot figure out if there is a registry setting gone awry. Also, I have
forgotten how to "Repair" IE6 without reinstalling it.

Any help will be appreciated,

It would appear IE doesn't know your default email program. If you use
Outlook Express, go to Start...Run and type in:

"c:\program files\outlook express\msimn.exe" /reg

Click Okay. Reboot. In IE go to Tools...Internet Options...Programs tab,
and make sure OE is set to the default there.
