Tool to modify an ISO before burning?

What too would enable me to modify an ISO on the hard drive before I
burn it to a CD?

If that didn't work you might have to do it two steps.

Mount an iso as a "virtual drive" http://www.elby.de/fun/software/

Copy the files to a folder and modify the folder.

Use a tool like CDBurnerXPPro to write the folder back out to an iso.

At least I think that one will write ISO's. If not, there are others
that will.

I'm almost certain I was able to do that with CDtools here:

I think it was called Visual-ISO.
