Too many files!

How do I get rid of unwanted files in My Music without making copies (and copies of copies of copies!!!), I have tried holding down the Ctrl key while highlighting files to delete but it keeps making copies. I also have thousands of .omx duplicate files I want to get rid of..............Help.
 
If you use WMP right click the file and click delete. Select from HDD.
 
To bulk delete, hold down to Ctrl key and press "A", this will hightligh
everything listed, rightclick any one of the highlighted files and click Delet
to wipe out the entire page. A steady mouse stroke is required to sto
you from creating copies. Your mouse sensitivity may have to be rese
to stop your "shakey" fingers.
