Too Many EPMAP connections?

Howdy All,

Didn't know where else to post this.

I was having problems with slow LAN performance, so I used netstat to look
at various computers connections and on one I found approximately 50 of
this:

Proto/Local Address/Foreign Address/State
TCP/FSS004:epmap/192.168.1.10:1889/TIME_WAIT

with everything the same except the port, which ranges from 1889 to 2012.

any ideas?

Thanks,
Brian

Are you connected to drive shares or other services on other computers
in your LAN? If so, that is why you are seeing so many open EPMAP
connections (EPMAP - Endpoint Mapper).
