too many different cells format

I got the following error when I openned a spreadsheet that is sharing with
too many users: "Too many different cells format" and after I click Excel
closed.

It's not the number of users you have it's the formats. A format in Excel
is any difference in font, size, colour, attributes, etc and is quite easy
to reach. To overcome it you might use styles.
