Too Many Address Books

Whenever I click 'Tools' 'Address Books' and click the pul-down arrow for
the combo box labelled 'Show Names from the:' I receive the following list of
address books:

Outlook Address Book
Contacts
Contacts
Contacts for <user name>@hotmail.com

If I select either 'Outlook Address Book' or the incorrect 'Contacts'
address book I receive the error message:

The address list could not be displayed. The Contacts Folder associated with
this address list could not be opened...

When I click Tools 'E-mail Accounts...' and select

View or change existing directories or address books

and remove both 'Contacts' I loose all three address books. If I then
right-click my 'Contacts' folder and click 'Properties' so as to add my
contacts into the address book I again end up with TWO 'Contacts' address
books, one of which produces the afore mentioned error message. How can I
create a SINGLE Contacts address book?

Thank you in advance for any responses.

If you have a Hotmail account accessed via the Outlook Connector, you will
have two Contacts folders, one for your main PST and one for the Hotmail
account PST. If, however, what you describe happens - getting two Contacts
folder entries in Address Book when enabling ONE Contacts folder as an
address book, I'd say you should start with a new mail profile.
