80,000 bytes to megabytes is less than 1MB, but still, i would be very careful, as normally GPRS usage appears on the bill a few months down the road, well when i had my PDA with my Mobile linked to it for email it did.

And as Vodafone is £2.xx per MB, i would assume o2 is around that value aswell.
