Hi everyone,

I have my laptop on a dual monitor setup (making one long dektop). Anyway,
a few weeks after I installed the Spyware beta, I noticed that occaisonally
a window called gcasDtServHolder pops up. The title bar is usually off of
the screen, but by changing the resolution, I can make it appear. It is
pretty cool, as it can hide the systray icon, show it, make it normal, or
have its tooltip say it is scanning, although it isn't.

Where did this come from? If a security MVP could forward this...Thanks!

That's something that a small number of people have seen--I've even seen it
on some occasion--can't remember how. It is clearly a bug, and the picture
has been posted before, so I believe Microsoft is aware of it.

I believe this object is intended to be hidden, but some lack of
multi-monitor awareness results in it appearing for folks with that setup.

Hmm, this is the same thing I have seen when using terminal services
software to remote control. Multiple monitors in play there as well. Most
certainly a bug and where ever it is located, it has carried over to
CounterSpy which uses a modified version of the same software.
